Chadi is the recording artist and producer brand of Anouschka focusing on chill urban and afro vibes. Anouschka is known as an acoustic guitar singer songwriter who has rebranded herself after becoming an urban dancer and falling in love with new music trends and fusion challenges. She plays guitar, keys, sings, arranges and produces and holds a Cum Laude Honors Degree from Berklee College of Music. In 2013 Anouschka pioneered a new fusion sound mixing local Kenyan beats with western songwriting, Kiswahili and English. In 2016 she received an African name "Chadi" by the Geriama Tribe on the Kenyan Coast. She decided to use the name for her new music projects in afro pop and urban RnB. IN 2016 she was honored by the Giriama Tribe with the name Chadi after raising money to help 604 school children.
In 2018, Chadi takes the stage with more African inspired pop for cross-over markets: “Na Wewe”, "Shine", and "Kwa Nini" produced by Kenyan producer House of Dillie. Na Wewe includes Kenyan artist Maga as the male voice at the end.
She also releases singles she has produced "The Way I See You", "Holding On", "Show the Love", "Driving Me Crazy" and "This is the Time".
"Holding On" features Emmy-Award Winning spoken-word poet Matthew (Brave New Voices, PBS, Chicago Theatre, Peace Jam International, HillCity, Yale University, Fox, ABC ). "Holding On" and "The Way I See You" feature bass by Max (Beyoncé, Raphael Saadiq, Party Next Door, Serena Ryder, Shawn Hook)She works closely with Grammy nominated Beau Vallis (Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Pharrell Williams, Lil Wayne) who mixes and masters for her in Miami.
