Urban Self Produced
My self produced songs are inspired by my love for urban dance/hip hop. When I compose these songs I think more from my point of view as a dancer. I still love composing hands on old school with a guitar/piano and/or pencil but manipulating loops and merging them with live instruments presents a fresh new sonic landscape to explore. I aim to fuse all my past influences in a new and exciting way as artist/producer. The tracks aside from "This Is the Time" have been outsourced for final airplay mixing/mastering. These songs are under my name CHADI to separate them from my acoustic style compositions under Anouschka
Jazzy & Blusey
My jazzy songs are inspired by my days at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. I was blessed to work with peers from many different countries and to learn a songwriting toolbox from my teachers that allows me to fuse melodies, changes and lyrics in tasteful and interesting ways within the general pop idiom. The blues songs come from my time in Stockholm, Sweden. When I moved there, the only place I could meet musicians as a newbie in town was at a blues jam so I'd get up on stage play 12 bars and freestyle some lyrics. Eventually these jam sessions led to my using the same influences in my songwriting. Many of the musicians on both the jazzy and the bluesy songs are world class musicians with accolades of their own. I was lucky to have their creative contributions.

Singer Songwriter
Most of my songs in the singer-songwriter genre were inspired by my years in New York and Los Angeles, mostly by the vibrant characters I came across, the tough conditions of hustling for a lucky break, the party scene, and lonely hours in a big city usually in and out of love with someone who was probably not good for me.
